Your Adversary, the Devil – 1 Peter 5:8-11
5 (8) Be spiritually sober. Be alert. Your adversary, the devil, like a roaring lion, is prowling around, looking for someone to devour. (9) Resist him by standing firm in the faith, knowing that the same ordeals of suffering are being placed upon your brothers throughout the world. (10) But after you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will personally restore you, support you, strengthen you, and establish you. (11) To him belongs the dominion forever. Amen.
