Moral Purity. In this day and age we might be tempted to ask, “What is that?” Judging from the characters that appear on T.V. and in the movies, if they, indeed, are a true reflection of society, we might conclude that no one practices moral purity any more.
Since everybody seems to be doing it, or in this case, not doing it, is it acceptable for the Christian to go along with the crowd and engage in a life of immorality? The Word of God responds with a resounding, “No!” The Scriptures inform us that the Lord Jesus Christ has redeemed the Christian from a life of sin (including immorality) and for a life that is in conformity with our Savior’s own devotion to the holy law of God. Furthermore, the Bible warns that the judgment of God will come upon those who practice a lifestyle of immorality.
