Ephesians 2:1-10 Reading the Passage

Praise God for His Amazing Grace – Ephesians 2:1-10

2 And he raised you also, when you were dead in your transgressions and sins, (2) in which you once walked in accord with the course of this world, which is in accord with the ruling prince of the air, that is, the spirit who is now working in the sons of disobedience. (3) Indeed, we all formerly lived among them for the lusts of our sinful nature, doing the will of the flesh and of the mind, and we were by nature children of wrath just like the rest of mankind. (4) But God, being rich in mercy, because of his great love with which he loved us, (5) even when we were dead in transgressions made us alive with Christ (by grace you have been saved) (6) and he raised us with him and seated us with him in the heavenly realms—in Christ Jesus. (7) He did so in order that in the coming ages of eternity he might display the immeasurable riches of his grace expressed in kindness to us in Christ Jesus. (8) It is by grace that you have been saved through faith—and this is not of yourselves, it is the gift of God—(9) it is not of works, therefore no one can boast. (10) We are his handiwork, created in Christ Jesus for good works which God prepared in advance in order for us to walk in them.
