Exodus 6:28-7:7 Reading the Passage

Our Sovereign God – Exodus 6:28-7:7

6 (28) Now on the day when Jehovah spoke to Moses in the land of Egypt, (29) he said to him, I am Jehovah. Tell Pharaoh king of Egypt everything I tell you. (30) But Moses said in the presence of Jehovah, I am a man with “uncircumcised lips.” How will it be that Pharaoh will listen to me?

7 Then Jehovah said to Moses, Listen; I have made you like God to Pharaoh; and Aaron your brother shall be your prophet. (2) You are to speak everything I command you, and Aaron your brother shall speak to Pharaoh, instructing him to allow the children of Israel to depart from his land. (3) And I will harden Pharaoh’s heart and multiply my signs and wonders in the land of Egypt. (4) And Pharaoh will not listen to you, so I will lay my hand upon Egypt and bring forth my hosts—my people, the children of Israel—out of the land of Egypt with mighty acts of judgment. (5) Then the Egyptians shall know that I am Jehovah, when I stretch out my hand over Egypt and bring out the children of Israel from among them. (6) Moses and Aaron did so—they did just as Jehovah commanded. (7) Moses was eighty years old and Aaron was eighty-three when they spoke to Pharaoh.
