John 14:1-3,25-31 Reading the Passage

Experiencing Christ’s Peace – John 14:1-3,25-31

14 Do not let your heart be troubled; trust in God, trust in me also. (2) In my Father’s house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you; for I am going to prepare a place for you. (3) And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me; so that where I am, you may be also.

…(25) I have told you these things while I was still with you. (26) But the Counselor whom the Father will send in my name—that is, the Holy Spirit—he will teach you all things and remind you of everything that I said to you. (27) Peace I leave with you; I give my peace to you. I do not give it to you as the world gives. Do not let your heart be troubled; neither let it be fearful.

(28) You heard me tell you that I am going away and that I will come to you. If you loved me, you would rejoice that I am going to the Father; because the Father is greater than I. (29) Now I have told you before it happens, so that when it does occur you may believe. (30) I will not speak with you much longer, for the prince of the world is coming. He finds nothing in me; (31) but in order that the world may know that I love the Father, I will do just as the Father commanded me. Get up, let us leave.
